Pre-backfill
Just a few picks before lumber delivered and back-fill put in. They put a permeable layer of something (like real thick opaque tarp) over the rocks for the drainage system. That's about it.

Slab Pour

Drainage/Sewer hookup complete
Drainage ready for inspection. Pour for slab is at 1 pm on Wednesday.

Notice the large grate (lid) on the catch basin. also, the crushed rock is small (to catch water), and not large (which lets water drain through)

This is the hookup to the sewer. All that was required was to hook up the green pipe to the swere connection, and clamp it down, but the city requires a whole bunch of money just to be allowed to do it (permit).

Catch Basin, Drainage, and Basement Radiant Heating Pipes
Weather has been wet, windy, and chilly, but work has been done. The catch basin has been installed (or placed) near the edge of the property, near the hookup, and pipe has been laid for it leading back to the foundation. Some other pipe is laying around (I have no idea for what, but it's probably just ignorance on my part).

The tubing has been laid for the radiant heating in the basement living area. All that is left is for the pouring of the slab over it.

The machinery is overflowing on the small lot. The big backhoe is still there from demolition to be used for back fill for the basement, and there is some new equipment (a small backhoe and a little walking bobcat).
